Essex Pride 2011

A community celebration of LGBT diversity

This year marks the eighth year of Essex Pride and growing on the success of previous years the 2011 Pride celebrations will be the biggest and best that Essex has seen.

We are back in the fabulous outdoor venue of Central Park and there is a fantastic line up of live entertainment on the day across both stages, including some well known acts and many new and local artists. Whether your lesbian, gay, bi, trans or straight you're sure to have a great day celebrating the Essex LGBT community.

This year's event will host our largest community area ever, hosting a number of organisations showcasing their work and services such as Essex Police, get involved in volunteering roadshow, NHS, Essex Fire and Rescue, Essex County Council and Borough and District Councils.

There will also be a number of local businesses, more food stalls along with a picnic area, fair ground rides and even a five a side football tournament! There will also be a children's area with plenty of fun stuff for little ones so why not make it a family day out.
